Alsmoos is located directly northeast of the main town Petersdorf, Gebersdorf is half a kilometer northeast of it. The neighboring towns are still Hohenried and Schönleiten in the north-west, the Pöttmes district of Gundelsdorf in the north and the Hollenbach district of Mainbach in the east.

Directly to the west of Alsmoos and Gebersdorf, the north-east-south-west running state road St 2035 leads from Neuburg an der Donau to Augsburg . This is crossed in the so-called Gebersdorfer Kreuz by the northwest-southeast running state road St 2047 from Rain am Lech to Aichach , which leads across Gebersdorf and east past Alsmoos. The district road AIC 8 , which runs from west to east and which comes from Aindling to Alsmoos, leads directly through Alsmoos into the St 2047.
