Wolfgang von Schaezler

Wolfgang Lorenz Freiherr von Schaezler (born April 23, 1880 in Augsburg ; † June 5, 1967 there ) was a German lawyer and landowner.

He came from the important Augsburg banking and entrepreneur family von Schaezler . His great-grandfather was Johann Lorenz von Schaezler , who had been raised to the nobility in 1821. After graduating from high school, Wolfgang von Schaezler studied law in Berlin, Würzburg and Munich. In the latter city he received his doctorate in 1905. jur. He then managed his own goods in Sulzemoos and Rehling . In addition, he was on the supervisory board of the Augsburg worsted spinning mill and nature conservation officer of the then Aichach district, now the Aichach-Friedberg district . On October 4, 1958, the baron and his wife Hilda, née Freiin von der Tann-Rathsamhausen, in memory of her two sons Dietrich († 1940) and Lorenz († 1943) of the city of Augsburg who died in the war, the Schaezlerpalais .
