coat of arms
The coat of arms is divided by a horizontal white (silver) wavy bar. In the upper part a Greek cross can be seen on a blue background on which a lamb with a flag is depicted in a circle. The Greek cross can also be found in the gable of the church. However, the lamb in the coat of arms not only has religious references, but also reminds of the time of the sheep farmers. In the lower green field two golden wings are depicted, which indicate the air force base near the place.
Culture and sights
- The Romanesque church of Saint-Hugues dates from the 12th century and is classified as a Monument historique (classé MH) . Inside it is a bell from 1530, also classified as a monument historique.
