Humbligny is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Neuilly-en-Sancerre in the north and north-west, Neuvy-Deux-Clochers in the north and north-east, Montigny in the south and east, Saint-Céols in the south and south-west, Morogues in the west, and Henrichemont and La Chapelotte in the north-west .
