Santranges is located in central France , about 54 kilometers north-northeast of Bourges . Santranges is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Châtillon-sur-Loire in the north and north-west, Beaulieu-sur-Loire in the north and east, Belleville-sur-Loire in the east and south-east, Savigny-en-Sancerre in the south, Sury-ès-Bois in the Southwest and Pierrefitte-ès-Bois in the west.
