geography
Levet is located about 17 kilometers south of Bourges in central France on the banks of the Rampenne River . Levet is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Lissay-Lochy in the north, Senneçay in the east and north-east, Saint-Germain-des-Bois in the south and south-east, Serruelles in the south and south-west, Corquoy in the west and south-west and Arçay in the west and north-west.
The A71 autoroute and the former national route 140 (today's D940) and 144 (today's D2144) run through the municipality .
