Soulangis is a French municipality with 497 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Cher in the region Center-Val de Loire . Soulangis belongs to the Arrondissement of Bourges and the canton of Saint-Germain-du-Puy (until 2015: canton of Les Aix-d'Angillon ).

Soulangis is located about ten kilometers northeast of Bourges in the Champagne Berrichonne (in Berry ) on the upper reaches of the Langis river . Soulangis is surrounded by the neighboring communities Menetou-Salon in the north and north-west, Parassy in the north and north-east, Les Aix-d'Angillon in the east and north-east, Sainte-Solange in the east and south-east, Saint-Michel-de-Volangis in the south and south-west and Vignoux-sous-les-Aix to the west.
