Sainte-Solange is located about ten kilometers east-northeast of Bourges in the Champagne Berrichonne . The municipality is crossed by the Colin and Ouatier rivers . Sainte-Solange is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Les Aix-d'Angillon in the north, Rians in the northeast, Brécy in the east, Nohant-en-Goût in the south and southeast, Moulins-sur-Yèvre in the south, and Saint-Germain-du-Puy in the southwest, Saint-Michel-de-Volangis in the west and Soulangis in the northwest.
