Lissay-Lochy is a commune with 224 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Cher in the region Center-Val de Loire . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Bourges and the Canton of Trouy (until 2015: Canton of Levet ). The inhabitants are called Licayolais .

geography

Lissay-Lochy is about twelve kilometers south of Bourges in central France . Lissay-Lochy is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Trouy in the north, Plaimpied-Givaudins in the east and northeast, Senneçay in the southeast, Levet in the south and Arçay in the west.

The A71 autoroute and the former route nationale 144 (today's D2144) run through the municipality . The municipality is crossed by the Rampenne river.
