Argenvières is located in the Berry about 46 kilometers east-northeast of Bourges on the Loire and on the Lateral Canal à la Loire . Argenvières is surrounded by the neighboring communities of La Chapelle-Montlinard in the north, La Charité-sur-Loire in the northeast, La Marche in the east, Saint-Léger-le-Petit in the south, Jussy-le-Chaudrier in the west and southwest and Saint-Martin -des-Champs in the northwest.
