geography

Gron is located in the Berry about 27 kilometers east-northeast of Bourges . Gron is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Étréchy in the north, Chaumoux-Marcilly in the east and northeast, Couy in the east, Villequiers in the south and southeast, Baugy in the south and Villabon in the west.

The national route 151 runs through the municipality . The community is located on Via Lemovicensis , one of the four historic " Way of the Pilgrims in France ".
