The Canal latéral à la Loire runs through the municipality . Boulleret is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Léré in the north, La Celle-sur-Loire in the north-east, Myennes in the east and north-east, Cosne-Cours-sur-Loire in the east and south-east, Bannay in the south, and Sainte-Gemme-en-Sancerrois in the south-west and Savigny-en-Sancerre to the west and north-west.
