Parassy is a French municipality with 414 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Cher in the region Center-Val de Loire . Parassy belongs to the Arrondissement of Bourges and the canton of Saint-Germain-du-Puy (until 2015: canton of Les Aix-d'Angillon ).

Parassy is located about 20 kilometers north-northeast of Bourges in the Champagne Berrichonne . Parassy is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Henrichemont in the north, Morogues in the east and northeast, Aubinges in the east and southeast, Les Aix-d'Angillon in the south and southeast, Soulangis in the south and southwest and Menetou-Salon in the west.
