Lapan is located about 19 kilometers south-southeast of Bourges in central France on the Cher . Lapan is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Lunery in the north and west, Saint-Caprais in the north, Arçay in the northeast, Corquoy in the south and east and Primelles in the west and southwest.
