Moulins-sur-Yèvre is a French municipality with 852 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Cher in the region Center-Val de Loire . It belongs to the canton of Avord (until 2015: canton of Baugy ). The inhabitants are called Moulinois .

Moulins-sur-Yèvre is located in the Berry about nine kilometers east of Bourges . Moulins-sur-Yèvre is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Sainte-Solange in the north, Nohant-en-Goût in the east, Osmoy in the south and Saint-Germain-du-Puy in the west and north-west.
The national route 151 runs through the municipality .
