Herry

Herry is a commune with 988 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Cher in the region Center-Val de Loire . It belongs to the canton of Avord (until 2015: canton of Sancergues ) and to the communal association Communauté de communes La Septaine .

geography

Herry is located in the Berry countryside about 45 kilometers east-northeast of Bourges on the Loire , which borders the municipality in the east. Herry is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Couargues in the north, Pouilly-sur-Loire in the north and north-east, Mesves-sur-Loire in the east, La Chapelle-Montlinard in the south and south-east, Saint-Martin-des-Champs in the south, Sancergues in the south-west , Feux in the west and Saint-Bouize in the northwest.
