Saint-Léger-le-Petit is located in the Berry about 46 kilometers east of Bourges on the Loire and on the Canal latéral à la Loire . Saint-Léger-le-Petit is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Argenvières in the north, La Marche in the northeast, Tronsanges in the east, Beffes in the south and Jussy-le-Chaudrier in the west.
