The TSV Aindling is a sports club from Aindling ( Aichach-Friedberg ) with divisions for football , tennis , volleyball , curling , women's gymnastics , children's gymnastics and skiing . In 2013 it had around 865 members.

Club history

When it was founded in 1946, the club was still called TSV Aindling- Todtenweis , and its first home ground was located between the two communities. In 1947 the newly laid out TSV sports field on Gamlinger Strasse was occupied; this is where the team played until 1973 when the sports complex at the Schüsselhauser Kreuz, a hill above the actual village of Aindling, was inaugurated. Since the expansion from 1987 to 1990, the football stadium has been designed for 1,000 spectators and has a covered main stand.

In 1975, the soccer team came above the level of the Aichach district for the first time, until 1983 they belonged to the district league Schwaben-Nord, then until 1996 (with the exception of 1989/90) of the Landesliga Bayern Süd . Since then, TSV Aindling has been in the Bavarian League , mostly placed in the midfield. After the reorganization of the soccer leagues in Bavaria, TSV Aindling will play in the Landesliga Bayern Südwest from the 2013/14 season.

The two biggest days in the club's history are the games in the DFB-Pokal main round, for which one could qualify in 2003 and 2004 . On August 30, 2003, Aindling lost 3-0 to FC Schalke 04, and 0-1 to Hertha BSC on August 22, 2004 .

At the end of the 2012/13 season, TSV Aindling was defeated in the relegation of DJK Vilzing , so that relegation to the Landesliga Südwest was certain. In the following season 2013/2014 the fall into the district league could only be prevented after a successful relegation.

At the end of November / beginning of December 2011 a raid took place at TSV Aindling on suspicion of aid for withholding and embezzlement of wages. The tax office is said to have withheld social security contributions or it is said to have been left unaware of them. The following process ended in June 2016 with suspended sentences against four club officials. A provisional insolvency application filed on August 17, 2015 due to the lack of clarity about the amount of additional payments to be made could be withdrawn in good time before the start of the 2016/17 season, so TSV Aindling continues to play in the national league. In the meantime, the non-profit status of the association was revoked in February 2012.

In 2017 they were relegated from the regional league.
