Jürgen Haller (born August 31, 1961 ) is a former German soccer player and today's coach. He is the son of the former German national player Helmut Haller .
Career
Haller's career in the men's field began in the 1979/80 season at FC Augsburg . The Bayern league became champions in the league and reached the final of the German amateur championship in 1980 . In the final, Augsburg with Haller as a player were defeated by the amateurs of VfB Stuttgart with 0-1 goals. On August 5, 1980 he made his debut in the 2nd Bundesliga . However, he went straight back to the Bayern League with FCA , followed by promotion and relegation. After the second descent, the promotion was not achieved and Haller moved to the second division club Blau-Weiß 90 Berlin in 1984 . The Libero played one season with the Berliners in the 1st Bundesliga ( 1986/87 ). In 1990 he left the club and, after a short detour to the Austrian club FC VOEST Linz , played again for FC Augsburg in the Bayernliga and Regionalliga Süd .
In 1996/97 he was under contract with TSV Aindling and then took up his first coaching position at SV Mering . In 1999 he decided to play again and went to TSV Schwaben Augsburg in the Oberliga Bayern. From the 31st matchday to the end of the season, he coached the team. His other coaching stations were, among others, the DJKhabenhofen-Anwalting, Conca D'oro and FC Stätzling. Since 2009 he has been working for Gibhofen-Anwalting again in the district class, where he is occasionally on the field as a libero.
