Kham Nai
Kham Nai or Kham Nhai (full title Brhat Chao Yudhi Dharma Sundaragana Negara Champasakti , Yutthi Thammasunthon; * 1830 in Himlot ; † 1858 ibid) was the ruler of the Champasak Empire .
He was born the third son of King Huy of Champasak, Prince ( Chao ) Kamanaya (Kham Nai). Kham Nai was educated in Bangkok and appointed ruler (Prince Governor, Chao Mueang Nakhon Champasak ) by King Mongkut in 1856 .
Kham Nai died in 1858 without male offspring and left two daughters:
- Princess ( Sadet Chao Heuane ) Kamabumi (Kham Phu)
- Princess ( Sadet Chao Heunae ) Mala
After Kham Nai, an interregnum followed , during which the Maha Uparat (viceroy) took over the administration of the country.
