Marco Löring (born February 21, 1982 in Herten ) is a German football player. He's a midfielder .

Club career

Loering began his career at the Gelsenkirchen club SC Hassel , from where he moved to the youth team at Borussia Dortmund in 1994, where he became German junior champions with the A and B youth teams . He played his first senior season in 2001/02 in the Oberliga Westfalen for the second team of BVB and immediately made it to the Regionalliga Nord . He also sat several times this season with the first team in the 1st Bundesliga as a supplementary player on the bench.

After this season he left Dortmund and joined FC Augsburg . Augsburg was also freshly promoted to the regional league. Loering quickly established himself as a regular player and only narrowly failed to get promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga three times with Augsburg until it finally worked out in 2006. In his first professional season in 2006/07, Loering initially continued to run well, but on April 1, 2007, in the game against Erzgebirge Aue, he twisted and suffered an injury. His contract, which expired in June 2007, was not extended, so Loering was initially without a club.

In December 2007 Loering joined the regional division 1. FC Union Berlin . With the Berliners he managed to qualify for the newly created third professional league , but he could not play himself in the regular eleven. Therefore, at the request of the player, his contract was not extended and he was again without a club. In January 2009 Marco Loering signed with the Bayern division TSV Aindling. At the beginning of the 2009/10 season Löring moved to Bayernliga competitor TSV 1896 Rain am Lech. In the summer of 2011 he joined the district division BC Augsburg-Oberhausen .

National team career

Loering went through almost all of the DFB's selection teams , although the final breakthrough - the jump into the men's selection - was denied. Nevertheless, he was able to celebrate some successes as a teenager, B. third place with the U16 selection at the 1999 European Championship .
