Kühbach is a market in the district of Aichach-Friedberg ( Bavaria ) and the seat of the Kühbach administrative community .

Kühbach is located in the Augsburg planning region .
The municipality consists of 6 districts and has 17 officially named municipality parts :
- the main town Kühbach
- the village of Haslangkreit with the village of Paar
- the village of Oberschönbach with the parish village of Unterschönbach, the hamlet of Mangelsdorf and the wasteland of Mittelham
- the parish village of Großhausen with the hamlet of Radersdorf and the deserted areas of Abtismühle, Oedmühle and Sedlhof
- the church village Stockensau with the church village Winden
- the parish village of Unterbernbach with the village of Radersdorf Bahnhof and the hamlet of Rettenbach.
history
Until the church is planted
The Kühbach monastery was founded in Kühbach around 1011 by Count Adalbero von Kühbach and his wife Wildburg . It was dissolved as part of secularization in 1803. The market in Kühbach belonged to the Munich Rent Office and the Aichach Regional Court of the Electorate of Bavaria . Kühbach had a market court with its own magistrate rights. In the course of the administrative reforms in the Kingdom of Bavaria , today's municipality was created with the municipal edict of 1818 .
District affiliation
It was not until 1972 that the market was assigned to the administrative district of Swabia as part of the district reform .
Incorporations
On April 1, 1972, the previously independent community of Oberschönbach was incorporated into Kühbach. Stockensau was added on July 1, 1972. On January 1, 1978 areas of the dissolved communities Haslangkreit and Unterbernbach followed .

The first mayor has been Karl-Heinz Kerscher (local community Kühbach) since May 1, 2020, who was elected in the runoff election on March 29, 2020 with 51.5 percent of the votes. His predecessor from 1996 to 2020 was Johann Lotterschmid; he was last confirmed in the local elections in 2014 with 92.9 percent of the valid votes in office.

economy
According to official statistics, there were 16 employees at the place of work in the field of agriculture and forestry, 538 in the manufacturing sector and 183 in the trade, transport and hospitality sector. In other economic areas 175 people were employed at the place of work subject to social security contributions. There were a total of 1688 employees at the place of residence subject to social insurance contributions. There were three companies in the manufacturing sector and ten in the construction sector. In 2010 there were also 58 farms with an agriculturally used area of 2,931 ha, of which 2,600 ha were arable land and 327 ha were permanent green space. The Kühbach brewery, owned by Baron von Beck-Peccoz , is one of the well-known breweries in the region.
