history

Großhausen is first mentioned in 888, when King Arnolf of Carinthia gave his loyal Gubo the farm "Groseshusa".

Until July 1, 1972 Haslangkreit belonged to the district of Großhausen as an independent municipality in the Upper Bavarian district of Aichach and then came to the newly founded Swabian district of Aichach-Friedberg as part of the regional reform in Bavaria . On January 1, 1978, it was incorporated into the market town of Kühbach.
