Pichl Castle
The Pichlschloss located in Aindlinger district Pichl in Aichach-Friedberg ( Bayern ).
history
The moated castle on Schloßallee was badly destroyed in the Thirty Years War and rebuilt in the middle of the 18th century. Pichl Castle can be found on Philipp Apian's Bavarian land boards as early as 1560 . The moated castle was a therapy center for drug addicts from 1979 to 2011.
In 2014, the Augsburg-based building contractor Georg Brandl (Delta Wohnbau GmbH) bought the castle from the Condrobs addiction aid association .
