Monika Lundi

Monika Lundi (* 22. August 1942 in Berlin ) is a German actress .

Career

Growing up in an orphanage in Berlin , Monika Lundi attended a household school and trained as a graphic designer at the Berlin School of Fine Arts . She worked as a model and appeared on November 29, 1967 on the cover of the magazine Quick . After a few very small film and television appearances, Lundi received the lead role in the comedy film Das Go-Go-Girl vom Blow-Up in late 1968 . She became known to the television audience through the eleven-part series Von Liebe keine Speech . In 1972 she was Roy Black's partner in the homeland film Grün ist die Heide . Because of her popularity she received the bronze Bravo Otto in 1973 .

Lundi married her fellow actor Horst Janson in Denmark in 1973 , but they divorced in 1976. With him she recorded the record We want it in 1975 ; Michael Kunze's production was the German version of the Paul Anka hit Having My Baby . The single was not a commercial success. Lundi caused a stir in 1979/1980 when she reported her colleague Burkhard Driest for rape during an acting class in Santa Monica . "Her accusation that Driest had forced her to have sex in July 1979 did not convince the court: Driest was only sentenced (on July 28, 1980) to a fine of 500  dollars - for assault" ( Stern 44/1993, p. 286) .

In later years Lundi could mainly be seen in episodes of television series such as Tatort and series such as Ein Fall für Zwei and Marienhof . She found other ways of expression a. in discussing audio books .

After a second marriage to director Hartmut Griesmayr , Lundi was married to actor Hans Stetter (1927–2019) since 1989 .
