The individual consequences

1. The new one

The first day at Carolus-Gymnasium is for Dr. Kramer is not easy: not only the students, but also colleagues view her with skepticism. When a teacher meets a student in her class, she can demonstrate her pedagogical skills and moral courage.

2. The example

Paul Löffler's father was in custody, which is why the boy is ostracized by his classmates. For Dr. Kramer is a good opportunity to explain to both children and adults the difference between prison and pre-trial detention or between guilty and not guilty.

3. A country student

After the death of his father, Wolfgang Häusner slackened considerably. Miss Dr. Kramer finds out that the boy does heavy work on his parents' farm during the day. She tries to convince Wolfgang's mother that he should go to university because of his talent and intelligence.

4. A hopeless case

Peter Graf, son of a doctor, does not improve in his school performance despite intensive tutoring. Peter explains to Dr. Kramer that he wants to leave school and become a gardener. His father, on the other hand, wants Peter to become a doctor like himself. When Kramer informed her father of Peter's wish and pleaded for leaving school, she met with rejection. The student then disappears.

5. In the country school home

Miss Dr. Kramer is with her primary school students in the country school home and rehearses with the students of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet , together with girls from a neighboring country school home. Difficulties arise when the cast of Romeo and Juliet fall in love.

6. The school newspaper

The school newspaper is a thorn in the side of Director Berwig. Miss Dr. Kramer, on the other hand, welcomes the fact that the students express themselves about their concerns. Through an anonymous article in this newspaper, the director believes that he has finally found a way to ban the school newspaper.
