Herbert Tiede

Herbert Tiede (born March 3, 1915 in Osnabrück , † December 13, 1987 in Munich ; born Herbert Salomon ) was a German actor .

life and work

Tiede, son of the opera singer Paul Salomon, took acting lessons from Frida Jahn-Mehring in Dessau from 1933 to 1936 after high school . He made his debut at the State Theater of Dessau as early as 1933, playing Theobald in Hebbel's Agnes Bernauer . He was part of the ensemble at the Landestheater until 1939 and again from 1945 to 1949 . In 1939/40 he worked at the Stadttheater Oberhausen and from 1940 to 1942 at the Stadttheater Bielefeld .

After participating in the war from 1942 to 1945, he worked at the Nuremberg Municipal Theaters from 1949 to 1957 and at the Hessian State Theater in Wiesbaden from 1957 to 1958 . After that he was a freelance actor who mainly performed at Munich theaters.

Tiede took on numerous roles in film and television. He played, among other things, the inspector Graven in the Pater Brown film The Black Sheep . In addition, he appeared repeatedly as a commissioner in the crime series Stahlnetz , for example on Easter Sunday night (1965).

Tiede was married and had five children.
