Two great beetles clean up (alternative title: Superbaby - the little one with the big mouth ) is a German film from 1978 . It is the last of five films in the Dudu film series about a miracle beetle of the same name .
action
In a chase with Mafiosi in Switzerland, El Guancho in his Wunderkäfer Dudu guides the gangsters into a stock car race. There, the two black limousine is completely destroyed. Dudu is also destroyed because he is pushed down a slope. The film now takes place in Lanzarote, where El Guancho drives a Solo 750 and owns the talking robot crab Pitscho. During a game of golf, El Guancho comes into contact with the Mafia who are looking for a treasure trove of gold that was brought to Lanzarote from Corleone in Sicily during World War II. The cheeky Pitscho shows the gangsters a gold coin from El Guancho's possession, which makes them curious about him. In the course of the film El Guancho meets Maria and her son Lorenzo, who are initially skeptical because Guancho is an alcoholic. After several arguments with the mafiosi, in which Maria and Lorenzo and finally Guancho are kidnapped, the protagonist manages to outsmart and eliminate the gangsters.
background
In this film, Dudu says goodbye, who in a chase, most of which was cut from the third part A Beetle on Extra Tour, is unceremoniously totaled within the first ten minutes. This last film in the series has little in common with the other Dudu films, the character Jimmie Bondi does not appear and Dudu himself hardly plays a role. The original title of this film is Superbaby - the little one with the big mouth and the conclusion is that Two great beetles clean up was chosen for marketing reasons. Rudolf Zehetgruber drives a three-axle, floatable Solo 750 ATV (short for All Terrain Vehicle, German: "Geländefahrzeug"), which is supposed to be stuck under Dudu's body at the beginning of the film and is introduced into the film as an undisguised Dudu .
criticism
"Very simple, largely tension-free adventure film."
