Women Who Go Through Hell is an internationally co-produced European western that was created in 1966 under the direction of Rudolf Zehetgruber and producer Sidney W. Pink . The film, received negatively by the critics, shows Anne Baxter in the lead role. It premiered in Spain on September 26, 1966, in Austria at the beginning of 1967, and was first shown in Germany on November 1, 1968 as Die Going Through Hell . There are different cut versions of the film.
action
After their migrant migrants were attacked and ripped out by Indians, seven women who survived the attack in a rock cave travel on alone through the Arizona desert. You want to reach Fort Lafayette, but you have no horses, guns or food with you. Meanwhile, a troop of horsemen is sent to find the women. When the two groups meet, they are soon attacked again by the Indians. This time, the leader of the squad can hide the women in a cemetery while he and his men face the attack. No one survives except the leader.
The journey continues; the plundering Indians are planning a final attack when the tribal leader intervenes. So far he has watched what is happening and admires the courage and perseverance of the women. Therefore, they will be able to get on safely the rest of their journey.
criticism
The lexicon of international films , which described the work as “below-average European westerns with broadly played brutal fight scenes and concessions to the sex wave”, Christian Keßler , who comes to the short conclusion “dreary”, and cinema expressed themselves negatively .de with the no less short “poor”.

Gianfranco Parolini , who is sometimes referred to as the director, was not involved. The international title is The Tall Women .
The exterior shots were made in Almería ; the film grossed 107 million lire in Italy .
