The village without morals is an Austrian film game from 1960. Directed by Rudolf Zehetgruber , the proven film comedians Paul Löwinger , Franz Muxeneder and Gunther Philipp play the main roles.
action
The setting is the sleepy Alpine village of Groß Birnbach. The old large farmer Gschwendner has died and has left a will with which he would like to annoy his somewhat simple-minded son Korbinian himself post mortem. Should the Filius not be married by the age of 45 and be blessed with at least one child, the court will go to the next of kin, the Wurmlinger-Casimir, a nephew of the old Gschwendner. Now it is time to hold on, because Korbinian is almost 45 years old and a bride, let alone a specially conceived child, is not in sight.
In an emergency, Korbinian passes the illegitimate child of his maid Vroni as his. The Wurmlinger is uneasy about that, and he immediately senses inheritance stealth. After all sorts of entanglements and moral indignation in the “village without morals”, it turns out that Korbinian's servant Sepp once dodged into the hay with the Vroni and thus became the child's father. But only when it becomes clear that Korbinian is also the father of Seppen and that he has had a son for a long time (whom he obviously didn't know about) can he legally take over the paternal inheritance, and the Wurmlinger is smeared.

Reviews
Paimann's film lists summed up: "In an act with typified characters that is reversed x times, the actors can fool around, but with a system, so that the ... photographically not always very sharp stripes are very amusing for the general public."
"Cheap village vacillations with well-worn jokes."
