Else Rambausek , married Else Rambausek-Salzer (born December 2, 1907 in Purkersdorf , † August 14, 1994 in Vienna ) was an Austrian actress and singer .

After attending a lyceum , she graduated from the Academy for Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. She worked in various theaters (e.g. at the Princely Reussian Theater in Gera with Walter Bruno Iltz ) and revue theaters, especially in Viennese operettas and singspiels . She also made a name for herself as a singer, especially as an interpreter of the Wienerlied . When the Raimundtheater with the Singspiel Das Dreimäderlhaus was put back into operation in 1945 , she was one of the actors.

Also at the Löwinger stage which was popular actress Else Rambausek to see or 1959 at the Mörbisch Lake Festival as Princess Bocena in the operetta Countess Maritza . She also acted in theatrical productions such as in 1964 in Die Dreigroschenoper at the Theater an der Wien as Celia Peachum. She also worked for the radio.

Since 1951 she took on supporting roles in the typical homeland films, music films and film comedies of the time. In these strips she embodied mostly simple-minded housekeepers or other women who should not be taken seriously. Rambausek was married to Karl Salzer.

Else Rambausek is buried in the Purkersdorf cemetery.
