Life
Barbara Kathrin Oginski was born in Katowice to a Polish father and a Viennese mother. She spent her childhood in Vienna, where she attended drama school and worked as a model . During the recording of Franz Antel's film Der Kongress tanzt in 1955 she met the Viennese director Rudolf Zehetgruber . She turned down a contract with the Vienna Burgtheater. Instead, she married Zehetgruber.
