Daring Game was an early evening series on Südwestfunk. The only season had 26 episodes and ran from March 18, 1964 to August 14, 1967. The scripts were written by Per Schwenzen and Erich Paetzmann and directed by Eugen York. Each of the episodes filmed in black and white was 25 minutes long and was broadcast on Wednesdays.

Insurance detective Dr. Severin ( Alexander Kerst ) and his assistant Babette Bollmann ( Maria Sebaldt ) clarify insurance cases and can even prevent some insurance fraud in advance. In this way, they prevent the murder of a husband in time, whose wife would have liked to become a rich widow. Dr. But Severin also shows heart and corrects a car insurance fraud for two poor students so that they don't end up in prison.
