Herta Worell

Herta Worell (born September 20, 1912 in Olomouc ; † April 5, 1996 in Munich ) was a German actress .

Life

She lived in Germany since 1914 and took private dance, singing and acting lessons in Berlin after school. She received her first engagement in 1932 at Victor Barnowsky's comedy house. Until 1945 she played as a brisk girl on various Berlin theaters such as the theater in Saarlandstrasse, mostly in comedies and operettas.

Since 1933, she has also been seen frequently in the cinema, although she never made her big breakthrough. Herta Worell settled in Munich after the war, where she mainly worked on the Kleine Komödie from 1955. She also made guest appearances in Frankfurt, Hamburg, Vienna and Zurich.

She was buried anonymously in the forest cemetery in Munich, grave field 421.
