Heinz-Günter Stamm
Heinz-Günter Herbert Richard Stamm , sometimes also Heinz Günter Stamm , Heinz-Günther Stamm , Heinz Günther Stamm , Günther Stamm and Günter Stamm , (born December 17, 1907 in Marienburg / West Prussia ; † June 22, 1978 in Munich ) was a German Actor , radio play speaker and director , primarily in theater and radio play productions .
biography
He was born in 1907 to Richard Stamm and his wife in Marienburg, West Prussia. He completed his acting training at the drama school in Berlin . He then went to Hamburg as an actor for five years and then to the National Theater Weimar , where he also worked for five years. After the Second World War he came to Stuttgart via Berlin . Since then, at the latest, he has also worked as a theater director. Then he went to the Kleine Komödie in Munich, where he mainly directed.
Since 1946, Stamm was closely associated with the Bavarian Broadcasting Corporation . From 1949 until his retirement in 1972 he was employed as a radio play director at the station. However, he still delivered work for the BR after 1972. He produced a very large number of radio plays, including the series Seinerzeit Ausverkauf , which included at least 36 radio plays, including B. The Spanish Fly (1960) by Arnold and Bach , with Bruno Fritz , Erika von Tellmann and Bum Krüger , The divine Jette (1961) with Maria Sebaldt , Inge Meysel and Edith Hancke , Pension Schöller (1963) by Wilhelm Jacoby and Carl Laufs , with Heinz Erhardt , Annemarie Holtz and Ilselore Eberhard and Der Mustergatte (1974) with Walter Giller , Monika Peitsch and Klaus Löwitsch . In the 1960s he directed several detective radio plays about the English private detective Sherlock Holmes , which were based on models by Arthur Conan Doyle and in which Peter Pasetti played the title role. In 1961 he brought out another crime series about the fictional Parisian commissioner Maigret , based on the novels by Georges Simenon . Here Paul Dahlke spoke the main role. But he was also at home in other genres. Under his direction, several radio plays were created based on models by classical poets such as Johann Wolfgang von Goethe , Friedrich Schiller , William Shakespeare and Lev Nikolajewitsch Tolstoy . Especially in the early years at BR, he occasionally appeared as a radio play speaker. In 1948 he played the title role alongside Anneliese Fleyenschmidt in the drama The Miraculous Magus by Pedro Calderón de la Barca, which was arranged for the funk by Helmut Brennicke . Apparently, he was very seldom a director in film and television.
Heinz-Günter Stamm was first married to the actress Ingrid Pan , who often acted as a speaker under his direction. His second wife was the producer and director Anke Beckert , née Poetzel. The marriage took place on December 12, 1962.
His final resting place is in Munich's north cemetery in grave field 97, row U2, grave no. 103. The grave still exists.
