Annemarie Holtz

Annemarie Holtz (born March 9, 1899 in Rostock ; † June 26, 1987 ) was a German actress .

She received her acting training at the theater school from Louise Dumont . Her first engagement took her to the Bavarian State Theater .

She then worked at the Schauspielhaus in Hamburg from 1925 to 1937 . In 1938 she came to the State Theater in Berlin . At the age of 39 she received her first film role. She played good friends, mothers and aunts.

After the end of the war she returned to Hamburg, where she also appeared in Munich at the Junge Theater and in Berlin at the Schiller Theater . Annemarie Holtz also worked for radio, as a voice actress and for television. She was married to the actor Ernst Martens.
