Christiane Maybach (actually Ursula "Uschi" Müller) (born March 14, 1927 in Berlin ; † April 12, 2006 in Cologne ) was a German actress and voice actress .

Christiane Maybach graduated from high school and from 1956 attended the acting school of the Schillertheater in Berlin. She then studied ballet and played at the Schauspielhaus Zurich (1957 to 1958) and under Gustaf Gründgens at the Schauspielhaus in Hamburg (1959).

She later began her career in Vienna as " Marilyn Monroe ", where she was the ideal cast for roles that Marilyn Monroe had embodied in the cinema because of her resemblance to the sex symbol of the 1950s. In mostly smaller roles, she was also seen in several films from the post-war period , for example in the international film Axel Munthe - The Doctor of San Michele from 1962 alongside OW Fischer . Later Christiane Maybach worked a lot with Rainer Werner Fassbinder , including in Welt am Draht , Faustrecht der Freiheit , Berlin Alexanderplatz and Satansbraten .

She gained her first soap opera experience in 1992 in the role of Isabelle Bornat in Good Times, Bad Times . From episode 1 of the daily soap Unter uns on November 28, 1994 she was seen on RTL as the house owner Margot Weigel in front of the camera. She played this role until December 2, 2005.

As a voice actress she lent her voice to Diane Fletcher ( Macbeth ) and Stella Stevens (Girls! Girls! Girls!), Among others . She also made a name for herself as a chanson singer.

2006 Christiane Maybach died of in her apartment in Cologne cancer . In honor of the deceased actress, a commemorative episode of Unter Uns was broadcast on August 29, 2006 . She lived in Cologne on the one hand and in Berlin on the other, was unmarried and childless.
