action

Playboy Pitt Seeberg, the son of wealthy parents, has just returned to Germany from a stay in the USA, where he was supposed to get to know the seriousness of life at the Ford factory , but only got to know women again. Although Pitt promises his father Otto that he wants to become a completely new person, since he no longer wants to give Pitt any more money when there are new women’s stories, Pitt invites his three lovers Dorothee, Beate and Eva to his home with the help of his friend Moritz Schröder Villa a. He wants to give all three of them a dress from America, but he only has it made in Germany. Since his acquaintance, the set designer Edgar Dirksen, has no time for the production, he passes the order on to his colleague Gaby Fabian, who makes fun of Playboy: She can recognize a Playboy immediately and would never fall for you. Hearing this, Pitt bets Edgar that he will seduce Gaby within a week.

With Moritz Schröder's help, Pitt succeeds in bringing the elevator in Gaby's work building to a standstill. Although he wanted to appear as the rescuer of the trapped Gaby, but Gaby took the stairs, he can at least appear opposite her as a mechanic and rescue an old woman from the elevator. He pretends to be Moritz Schröder and to work at Auto-Kaiser as a car salesman - his house servant Franz Kullmann immediately arranges for him a job at Auto-Kaiser, which Pitt takes on under the name of his friend. In the period that followed, he actually succeeded in countering Gaby in a credible manner as a car mechanic and salesman, and he also rose in his job because of his sales talent. Edgar Dirksen tries several times to expose Pitt and make him appear untrustworthy, but Pitt can master every precarious situation and also explain random encounters with Dorothee, Beate and Eva plausibly. Pitt can even swap the apartment with Moritz at short notice, who now inspires his girlfriend Lilly with Pitt's noble villa.

To his father's delight, Pitt really wants to lead a working life and settle down with Gaby by his side. He is planning a big celebration to which all previous lovers, friends and acquaintances will be invited. Since the party promptly takes place on an evening when Gaby had invited him to dinner, he pretends to have to work late into the night and not be able to come to her until shortly before midnight. He does not tell her that he wants to ask her for her hand that day and she does not tell him that this day is her birthday. Edgar, who is also invited to Pitt's party, stops by Gaby beforehand to congratulate her on her birthday. She confesses to him that she is in love with Pitt and Edgar decides to reveal the truth to her. He goes with her to Pitt's party, where Dorothee, Beate and Eva are unplanned to undress him. Horrified, Gaby rushes out of the villa and Moritz explains to Edgar that Pitt actually wanted to change and that he actually wanted to ask Gaby for her hand. Edgar appears contrite the next day and tells Gaby of Pitt's honest intentions. He shows her the engagement rings, which she should either accept or immediately mail back to Pitt. She takes the rings and leaves. Once again Moritz succeeds in bringing the elevator to a standstill in the house - this time with Gaby and the already waiting Pitt in it, who kiss each other around their necks. A little later a double wedding takes place: Pitt marries Gaby and Moritz and Lilly are also married.
