Hans Zander (actor)

Hans Zander (born January 9, 1937 in Hamburg , † February 27, 1991 in Munich ) was a German actor and theater director .

Life

After finishing school he took acting lessons at the State University for Music and Performing Arts in Hamburg with Eduard Marks and privately with Wolfried Lier . This was followed by his debut at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus .

Engagements took him to the Bavarian State Theater in Munich as well as to the local Kleine Komödie and the T (h) eater in Briennerstrasse. He also played in Berlin and on tour. From 1957 he took on numerous roles in film and television. Since 1983 he has directed the Munich Boulevard Theater in the Künstlerhaus on Lenbachplatz . Zander died of cancer.
