Wolfried Lier

Wolfried Lier (born February 1, 1917 in Berlin , † December 14, 1993 in Munich ) was a German actor .

Life

Lier made his debut at the Neisse Municipal Theater in 1938 . From 1939 to 1943 he belonged to the ensemble of the Landestheater Gotha-Sondershausen, after which he participated in the war. From 1950 to 1952 he played in Berlin at the Theater am Kurfürstendamm , 1951/52 also in the stands . In 1953 he moved to the Bavarian State Theater , to which he belonged again from 1959 to 1961. He mainly worked on the Münchner Kammerspiele , where he worked until 1983.

From 1949 Lier took part in a variety of films, in which he mostly took on minor roles. He became known to a larger audience in 1960 when he was one of the main characters, NCO Jaletzki, alongside Hinrich Rehwinkel , Wilmut Borell and Dieter Kirchlechner, in the first part (Das Tagebuch des Jürgen Wilms) of the 5-part classic TV series Am grün Strand der Spree by Hans Scholz embodied. In the three-part series The Gentlemen Ask To Cashier , he embodied the mail robber Walter Lloyd, who is responsible for the light signal to the train and achieves the desired effect by simply covering a lamp. Shortly before his death he took on the role of Wilhelm in the television series Immenhof , but can only be seen in the pilot film. Werner Dissel took over the role for the following episodes .

Lier worked extensively for radio, especially in the fifties and sixties. He was temporarily married to Marianne Kortner . His grave is in the forest cemetery of Fürstenfeldbruck .
