occupation

Stefanie is a German film comedy and a love story of the Hungarian director Josef von Báky from 1958. The film adaptation based on the novel Stefanie - or the lovable follies of the writer Gitta von Cetto . In the main role , Sabine Sinjen plays the orphan Stefanie, who grows up with her two brothers.

action

Stefanie Gonthar grows up as an orphan with her brothers Hannes and Andreas after the accidental death of their parents. While Hannes, a successful architect, provides for the siblings' livelihood, Andreas sometimes lives beyond his means and often likes to help himself from the common fund in order to please the beautiful Sonja, with whom he fell in love.

Stefanie, for her part, lives a lively life and at the age of 16 falls in love with the twice-old womanizer Pablo Guala, who is a business partner of her brother Hannes. Pablo is not averse to Stefanie's advances, but resists the temptation and sends her back home. That suits her brother Hannes, because he too is of the opinion that his sister shouldn't fall in love with his business partner of all people, who could also be her father. Back at home, Stefanie makes further attempts to get closer to the attractive Argentine.
