Lore Hartling (born March 3, 1932 - † August 13, 1994 in Berlin ) was a German actress .

Live and act

Lore Hartling began her stage career at the age of 20 in Basel . At the Comedy Basel in 1954 she was able to celebrate a great success with Mary in the comedy “ Herr im Haus am Ich ”. Two years later she moved to the Schiller- und Schloßparktheater in Berlin, directed by Boleslaw Barlog , where she met her future husband, her professional colleague Martin Held , who was 24 years her senior , with whom she repeatedly appeared on stage.

For example, both appeared in 1957 in Walter Hasenclever'sA Better Man ” in a production by Hans Lietzau , but also in 1959 in Jean Anouilh'sGeneral Quixotte ” in a production by Rudolf Steinböck . In Wolfgang Staudte's justice drama The Last Witness , the artist couple Held / Hartling stood together in front of the camera.

At the beginning of 1957, Lore Hartling began filming. Her appearances in front of the camera (film and TV film) were mostly quite unspectacular. She embodied young women of all kinds, often in contemporary stories.

With the birth of her first son Albert (born 1964) from the connection with Held, whom she married in 1967, Lore Hartling withdrew into private life and devoted herself entirely to raising both children (the second son Maximilian was born in 1967).
