Lukas Ammann (born September 29, 1912 in Basel ; † May 3, 2017 in Munich ) was a Swiss actor who was best known for his title role in the television series Graf Yoster gives himself .

Ammann, son of Alice Ammann-Bloch (1888–1919) and the Swiss painter Eugen Ammann (1882–1978), strove to go to the theater after finishing school and from 1933 attended Max Reinhardt's drama school in Berlin . From 1959 Ammann was married to the singer Liselotte Ebnet (1932–2009), who was a member of the ensemble at the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz for many years . From a previous marriage he had two sons living in Uruguay . Most recently he lived alone in his Munich apartment and ran his household largely independently for a month before his death. Lukas Ammann died in May 2017 at the age of 104 in his apartment.
