Klassezämekunft ( hdt . : class reunion ) is a Swiss feature film by Condor Films AG from 1988. The shooting took place mainly at Teufen Castle in the canton of Zurich . The distribution title in the English-speaking world is Broken Silence .
action
Fifty years after graduating from school in the 1930s , Senta von Meissen invites eight former school friends to a class reunion at her castle. The old comrades remember an accident that occurred on the high school graduation trip at the time : Teddy, one of the classmates and friend of the hostess at the time, fell into the Rhine Falls . All guests were entangled in this story and filmed. During the evening Senta and her daughter Agnes, who was supposedly employed incognito to serve the guests, take revenge on all of the students involved at the time.
criticism
In general, the criticism was mediocre, but the ten little negro system was often praised. The lexicon of international films speaks of an "undemanding, banal (n) criminal story based on the principle of ten little negroes."
