Stephanie Glaser (born February 22, 1920 in Neuchâtel ; † January 14, 2011 in Zollikerberg ) was a Swiss actress . She lived in Zurich-Witikon .

Life

Stephanie Glaser's parents were hoteliers. She grew up in Bern and attended school there.

Glaser trained as an actress at the Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna and then received engagements at various theaters in Switzerland and Germany. She became a member of the Cabarets Floigefänger and Fédéral , and alongside Walter Roderer , she developed into one of the great popular actresses in Switzerland.

Glaser was also known for her roles in the Gotthelf films Uli the Servant and Uli the Tenant . However, she became particularly popular with the Swiss television audience between 1974 and 1981 with her role as "Aunt Elise" with her goldfish "Traugottli" in the television show Teleboy by Kurt Felix . Then she starred in the television series Motel and The Director .

In 2006, at the age of 86, she received her first leading role in the movie Die Herbstzeitlosen .

She died on January 14, 2011 at the age of 90 in Zollikerberg Hospital.
