The SwissAward was a prize that honored outstanding Swiss personalities. The prize was awarded in January at a gala event that was broadcast by the Swiss television stations SRF , RTS and RSI .

Between the award ceremonies, the main winners of the lottery million lot were drawn. From 2003 to 2012 Sandra Studer (together with Rainer Maria Salzgeber ) was the moderator of the gala , from 2013 Susanne Wille led the award ceremony.
