Heliane Canepa

Heliane Canepa (née Mayer ; * 1948 in Dornbirn , Austria ) is a Swiss manager .

Life

Canepa studied in Dornbirn, Austria, at West London College in London, at the Sorbonne in Paris and at Princeton University , New Jersey, where she completed the Foreign Executive Development Program.

From 2001 she was CEO of the Swiss-Swedish company Nobel Biocare , the world's largest manufacturer of dental implants . On July 30, 2007, she announced her resignation as CEO of Nobel Biocare on September 1, 2007. Her successor was Domenico Scala .

Canepa was voted Swiss Entrepreneur of the Year in 1995 and 2000 and in 2005 was ranked sixth of the 25 most successful business women in Europe by the Financial Times . She is the delegate of the board of directors of FC Zurich .

She has been married to Ancillo Canepa since 1973 .
