Viktor Giacobbo (born February 6, 1952 in Winterthur ; authorized to live there ) is a Swiss author , cabaret artist , presenter and actor .

Career

After completing school in Winterthur, he did an apprenticeship as a typesetter in the Winterthur printing company and then worked as a proofreader , publishing editor and media documentalist .

From 1979 to 1986 he was an author and actor with the independent comedy theater company Stuzzicadenti, 1984 and 1985 with Zampanoo's Variété, then until 1998 a member of the comedian company Harul's Top Service. In the early 1980s he wrote the column “Viat Jacques de Koboff” in the magazine Tell . From 1991 to 1994 he worked for the satirical program Satiramisù on Radio DRS . In Ueli Heiniger's show Medienkritik , Giacobbo presented satirical numbers.

Giacobbo gained greater fame as a presenter and co-author of the satirical programs Viktor's program (1990-1994) and Viktor's late program (1995-2002) on Swiss television , in which he often played his fictional characters (such as Harry Hasler, Fredi Hinz or Debbie Mötteli). In addition, his “expert for everything” appeared in every program: Dr. Stolte-Benrath, played by Patrick Frey .

In 2000 he founded the Casinotheater Winterthur together with Patrick Frey and other initiators and has since been Chairman of the Board of Directors of Casinotheater AG.

In 2002 the film Ernstfall was released in Havana , with Giacobbo as co-writer and lead actor, directed by Sabine Boss . He appeared twice as an actor in Gerhard Polt's films : 2004 in Germanikus and 2013 in Und Äktschn! .

In the 2006 season he was on tour as a guest star with the Swiss National Circus Knie .

Giacobbo writes columns for various newspapers, until the end of 2007 for the Tages-Anzeiger . In 1998 the volume Asparagus of Retaliation was published with 70 selected columns from the (former) Swiss news magazine Facts . He also produced a calendar for 1999 and 2001 with the title Viktor's wall program .

From January 27, 2008 to December 11, 2016 he made the satirical weekly review Giacobbo / Müller together with Mike Müller .

  • Harry Hasler

A boastful pimp guy. According to his own statement, Harry Hasler is Thurgauer, who has, however, acquired a straight Zurich dialect. According to dialect researcher Prof. D. Udler, it is a Zurich dialect from the 1950s. Harry Hasler lives in the Schwamendingen district of Zurich , with lush chest hair, gold jewelry and white clothes.

A homeless stoner with unkempt hair and tattered clothes, who often asks people for "two Schtutz (two francs) for d'Notschlafschtell". As Fredi Hinz , Giacobbo appeared in the 2006 season with the Knie Circus and at the Arosa Humor Festival . He also moderated a whole episode of Viktor's late-night program as Fredi Hinz. His guests at the time were Uriella and Stéphanie Berger .
