Christa Rigozzi (born May 2, 1983 in Monte Carasso , Canton Ticino ) is a Swiss presenter and beauty queen .
Career
On September 9, 2006, she was elected Miss Switzerland 2006 in Geneva . Since Melanie Winiger in 1996 she is the first Miss Switzerland from the canton of Ticino. At the time she won her title, she was studying media and communication science at the University of Freiburg and criminology and criminal law at the University of Bern . After the Miss year Rigozzi completed her studies of communication science and criminology at the University of Freiburg with a grade of 5.5. She speaks five languages fluently.
In 2007 she represented Switzerland in the Miss Universe election. and moderated the Miss Switzerland election 2008 on Swiss television . Since the summer of 2010 she has been co-moderating the coupling program “ Bauer, single, sucht ... ” alongside Marco Fritsche on the Swiss private broadcaster 3plus . In 2011, 2012 and 2015 Christa Rigozzi sat alongside musician DJ Bobo and presenter Roman Kilchsperger on the jury of the casting show “ The greatest Swiss talents ”, which was broadcast on Swiss television. In December 2015 she moderated the SwissAward ceremony together with Sven Epiney and Mélanie Freymond . In 2020 she will host the third season of The Voice of Switzerland together with Max Loong .
Rigozzi has been married to her long-time boyfriend Giovanni Marchese since 2010. She is an ambassador for the Wunder Lampe foundation , and previously she was an ambassador for Leukerbad .
