Life

By phrases such as "I am grown up in Canada" and her strong accent quickly became clear that they German only very inadequately and Swiss German even less controlled. Since she did not speak the three other Swiss national languages French , Italian and Romansh at all, discussions arose in the Swiss media and the public as to whether a Miss Switzerland should not be able to speak at least one of the four national languages fluently. After her election, Sissing wrote a column on "Shopping" in Insider magazine and represented several companies. She also ran fashion shows all over Switzerland. She made it into the top fifteen in the Miss Universe and Miss World elections.

As dedicated vegetarian and animal rights activist , she posed for PETA Travel Poster in a savoy cabbage - bikini as Miss-vegetarian . In November and December 2008 she appeared in four different roles in the musical Jesus Christ Superstar at Le Théâtre in Kriens .

In July 2010 she began a two-year apprenticeship as a florist, which she successfully completed in September 2012. She has been married since August 2010. Today Bianca Sissing runs a yoga studio in Lucerne.
